Summary: This session will invite attendees to examine their own perspectives on using the three TPEP frameworks to evaluate quality instruction for ELs in Washington before presenting the findings from a mixed methods study on using the Framework for Teaching to evaluate teachers of ELs. Implications will be discussed.

Biography: Randi Freeman has been a TESOL educator for 31 years. She has experience as a teacher, materials/curriculum developer, teacher educator, and researcher. She has taught students from pre-school through graduate school. Ms. Freeman received a 2018 TIRF Doctoral Dissertation Grant for her study on ELL Teacher Evaluation.
