Summary: This presentation is intended to provide educators with a basic understanding of immigration status in the United States and how it impacts their non-citizen students and their families. It is also intended to provide information on what resources are available for non-citizens in the community.
Biography: Greg Cunningham is a senior paralegal at Quiroga Law Office, PLLC, in Spokane Valley. He has been working with refugees and immigrants for nineteen years, both with Quiroga Law Office and, prior to that, with Catholic Charities of Eastern Washington. He earned his BA in German at Seattle University and his MA-TESOL from Eastern Washington University. He is currently studying to pass to state bar exam through the state's law clerk program.
